Evan H. Stiles AAC Head Coach

Evan Stiles grew up locally in Alexandria, VA. He graduated from Mt. Vernon High School in 1987 and went on to Mary Washington College, where he was a 4-year letterman in swimming and water polo, 3 years in baseball and 1 year in tennis. He graduated with a B.A. in Geography in 1991 and then received a Masters of Sport Science in Sport Coaching in 1993 from the United States Sports Academy in Daphne, AL. In the summer of 1993, Evan became an assistant coach with the Arlington Aquatic Club. Two years later, he became the Head Age Group coach. This year Evan will begin his fourth season as the Head Coach of AAC. Evan has also been the Head Coach of the Bishop O'Connell High School Varsity Swim Team for the past 14 years. He has also served as the Arlington Ageless Masters Swim Team Head Coach for 12 years. |

Mary Allen
began teaching swim lessons 35 years ago in a very cold lake in upstate New York. She became a certified Water Safety Instructor in 1975 and taught lessons at a YWCA in East Lansing, Michigan while working on her MA degree in education. After moving here in the early 1980's she taught lessons (all ages) for Fairfax County and has been the Swim Lesson Coordinator for Arlington Forest Club for 11 years. She began coaching the Mini Gators for AAC two years ago and enjoys working with these young, energetic swimmers. She looks forward to coaching again this year. |

Laura Cutrona was born and raised right here in Arlington, VA. She has been swimming with AAC since she was 8 years old. She also swam at Dominion Hills during the summer for 9 seasons. As well as swimming for AAC, Laura also swam on the varsity swim team for all four of her years at Bishop O’Connell High School.
Laura is currently attending George Mason University, where she is working towards a master’s degree in education. Laura began coaching for AAC during her senior year of high school. This is Laura’s third year coaching for AAC and she is coaching the Novice and Junior groups at W-L. |

Caroline Heeter was born and raised in Arlington. She swam competitively through High School. She attended the University of Dallas where she swam for the club team while majoring in History with a minor in Spanish. She currently teaches and coaches at Oakcrest School in McLean. Having previously been the assistant coach, she was made the head coach of the Arlington Knights of Columbus Holy Mackerels in 2003. Caroline started coaching with AAC in September 2001 and currently coaches the Gator and Advanced Gator groups at Wakefield. |

Josh Milfeit was born and raised in Pittsburgh. He began swimming when he was 8 and continued until he graduated from Penn Hills High School in '99. In '03 he graduated from The University of Pittsburgh with a BA in Communications. He began coaching summer league in '98 and coached a USS club from '00 to '03. He became the Assistant Head Coach for ARGO Aquatics in Allentown, Pennsylvania late in '05 and returned to Pittsburgh to take the Head Coaching position for his alma mater Penn Hills in '06. |
